Venice, Nokomis and Sarasota offer a variety of fish both
inshore bay/ flats and along the beaches. Fish the grass flats for
trout and redfish. Oyster beds, docks and mangrove
spoils will produce reds and snook. While rock piles and
bridges are feeding grounds for sheepshead, snapper, black drum
and many others.
Sun Coast gulf coastal beaches can provide spanish mackerel,
kingfish, cobia, barracuda, shark or even the mighty tarpon at
certain times of the year.
